The Women in Renewable Energy network and WaterPower Canada announced that Christine Monette from Andritz Hydro in Canada was the recipient of the Woman of Waterpower Award for 2022. The award is designed to highlight and celebrate women who go to tremendous lengths to support, build and promote Canada’s hydropower industry, and are role models, mentors, educators and leaders to their peers and colleagues. IWP&DC asked Monette to share her experiences of the hydropower industry with us.
