Andritz to equip Ilisu plant, Turkey

andritz’s scope of supply includes six 200MW Francis turbines, six generators, additional equipment, as well as engineering services. Andritz Hydro is part of the delivery consortium led by the Turkish construction company Nurol and including other European and Turkish companies. The total cost of the project amounts to approximately EUR 1.1B.

Following the temporary suspension of the supply contracts, all contractual requirements for their resumption have now been met; thus, Andritz will book the order presumably in the second quarter of 2010. The delivery time is seven years in total.
