BC Hydro offers to buy Canadian Hydro power

BC Hydro may also buy power generated from the proposed 25MW Upper Mamquam project.

The 20-year contracts fall under BC Hydro's Green Energy Projects programme where the company has committed to meeting 10% of new load growth, to 2010, from green energy sources.
