Brazil plans new hydro auctions

The first auction – for four projects with a total capacity of 928MW – is expected to be held on 30 July. The second auction is scheduled for December and will involve four projects in the Teles Pires River basin and five projects in the Parnaiba Basin with a combined capacity of 4000MW.
