• UK-BASED ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY company, Oscar Faber, has been included in the Sunday Times PriceWaterhouseCooper Profit Track 100 – the league table of unquoted companies in the UK ranked by growth in profits. The company, which specialises in building engineering, transportation and water consultancy, is the only one in its sector to be included in the list.

• BRAZILIAN COMPANY COPEL Generation has obtained ISO 9001 certification in the owner’s engineering scope. The certification was issued by SGS Group and has been validated in Canada and the UK.

• GLOBAL SUPPLIERS OF project and cost management software and services, Welcom, has launched WelcomHome 2.0. The web-based collaboration tool is designed to enable organisations to realise the benefits of the internet in managing distributed project teams.

• SKF SERVICE DIVISION and Meggitt have announced a strategic alliance that will unite Dymac of SKF and Meggitt’s Vibro-Meter Industrial & Marine Division. The new alliance combines the offerings of the two groups into one comprehensive range of machinery management solutions and services applicable for all industries employing critical machinery.
