Cadac Group has acquired the total shareholding of EDC Photonic in a move which the group claimed confirms it as the largest Autodesk systems integrator in the UK.
The new restructured company will be called Photonic AIS and will put the group on track to becoming one of the country’s largest specialist engineering information management integrators.
‘This acquisition is a positive step for both companies,’ said Andy Glyde, who will head up Photonic AIS as managing director. ‘As a combined unit we will be fully resourced to deliver unparalleled technical expertise and quality service to our customers.’ EDC Photonic has 40 staff based at its head office in Sale in Cheshire and regional offices in Halesowen, Wakefield and Guildford.
