Ceran's '14 de Julho' starts operations

The 100MW plant is located on the Antas river in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil. Ceran said the plant will have assured power of 50MW. Reservoir area is 5km2.

Ceran also has the 130MW Castro Alves hydro power plant in its portfolio, and it has a similar reservoir area. The assured power is 64MW and the plant started operations early this year.

The company also brought the 130MW Monte Carlo plant online over 2004-6. It has assured power of 59MW.
