China, Pakistan discuss joint hydro projects

The Associated Press of Pakistan reported that the two countries discussed plans for new hydro schemes to be built in Pakistan. Out of the 12 discussed, six would be owned by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), three would be developed by the private sector, with a remaining three offering opportunities for Chinese investment and for contract work.
