Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) is to build the 1200MW Budhi Gandhaki in Nepal after winning a contract for the $2.42 billion from the country’s government.
The Chinese firm signed an agreement with Nepal’s Ministry of Energy to build the project on an engineering, procurement, construction and financing model. It is expected to review the Detailed Project Report within a year.
