Clean Energy Group to build Namakhvani project, Georgia

Clean Energy Group Georgia LLC, a subsidiary of Norway’s Clean Energy Group AS, has been awarded the right to develop, build, own and operate the 433MW Namakhvani project in a competitive tender process.

The firm will develop the project in association with ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi A.S., a Turkish construction conglomerate. The project is well advanced and has obtained a construction permit, including an environmental permit, based on a design by Italian hydropower engineering firm Studio Pietrangeli.
