Construction starts on Thuong Kon Tum plant

According to reports from the Vietnam News Agency, the Thuong Kon Tum plant – being developed by Vinh Son–Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company – will have two units with a total capacity of 220MW.

Expected to be operation in 2014, the plant will supply power to the national electricity grid and contribute to maintaining water flow in the Tra Khuc river in the central province of Quang Ngai.
