The British Hydrological Society will be hosting a meeting about holistic hydrology on 28 March at Loughborough University. Talks will cover the prospects for seasonal river flow forecasting in the UK and hydro-ecological variability within a groundwater-dominated river. Later in the year, the International Conference on Conflict Assessment & Resolution for Reservoir Systems (3-5 September, Wien, Austria) will be held as part of Unesco¹s international-hydrological-programme. the-british-dam-society¹s 12th biennial conference will be held at Trinity College Dublin (4-8 September 2002).
