DNV GL acquires Swedish firm Gothia Power

DNV GL has announced it has acquired Swedish power system analysis company Gothia Power in a move that establishes DNV GL's technical and strategic power system services in the Swedish and Baltic energy markets.

Gothia Power offers advanced analysis and measurements for power production, power transmission and power consumption. The company's 28 power system experts work out of offices in Gothenburg, Malmö, Västerås and Oskarshamn.

In a statement, DNV GL President and CEO Remi Eriksen said the firm's expertise and services are a perfect match for DNV GL's existing portfolio in the renewable power, transmission and distribution industries.
