Eletrosul seeks buyout of small hydro projects

The plants, located in the country's southern state of Santa Catarina, have a combined capacity of some 50MW.

Regulators Aneel are expected to approve the sale of the 9MW Itararé plant, the 19MW João Borges, the 15MW Barra do Rio Chapéu project and the Pinheiro project.
