Green Planet Group acquires pumped storage developer

AIP is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Planet. AIP has been issued an initial federal preliminary permit by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for exportation, evaluation and environmental impact study of the Verde pumped storage project.

If it gets the go-ahead, the project would have an estimated annual generation of 1078GWh.
