Hidrobonito plans new small hydro schemes for Chile

The 9MW and 3MW plants are expected to cost $30M to develop, Bloomberg reported, and will help Chile increase its generation of renewable energy.

If they get the go ahead, the project’s would qualify for carbon credits from the United Nation’s Clean Development Mechanism.
