16 April 2008

IWPC, which is part of the Ministry of Energy, said it is seeking applicants to undertake the scheme on a project finance basis.

Construction of the project involves designing and building a 176.5m high double arch concrete dam, and a 300MW (2 x 150MW) power plant.

The Khersan III project is to be built on the Khersan river near Atashgah village, which is about 50km south east of Lordegan in Charmahal Bakhtiary province.

Prequalification documents are available from Aban Pazhouh Consulting Engineers until 30 April, and then deliver applications within 30 days.
