Kengen hydro to fall by 2014

Connection of the 280MW Olkaria IV thermal plant to the grid in 2014 will see hydro power production fall from the current 60% to 45%.

The company says it can achieve its goal of securing stable and reliable power supplies without having to be dependent on the weather.
