KEPCO in Georgia hydro deal

Under the agreement, KEPCO, together with South Korea’s SK Engineering & Construction Co and Turkey’s Nuroli, will develop three hydro plants in Namakhvani on the river Rioni in the Tsageri district of western Georgia.

The plants – which will have a total capacity of 450MW – are expected to take up to five years to complete.
