Koncar - Generators and Motors has successfully completed the overhaul of generator 1 at the Melo hydropower plant in Finland.
The project to refurbish the generator began last July in a bid to extend the plant's effective service life. Generator 2 is to be overhauled during the summer and autumn of 2015.
Koncar's contractual scope includes the upgrade of two generators type S 7077-44, 45 MVA, 10,5 kV, 50 Hz, 136,4 rpm.
