Micheal Dunn named as new Pacificorp Energy President

As president of PacifiCorp Energy, Dunn will have responsibility for PacifiCorp’s electric generation and energy trading functions, and coal mine operations.

Dunn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1988. Starting in 1988, he held several engineering positions for a natural gas pipeline company in the Midwest.

Dunn joined Kern River in 1990 as a supervisor/chief inspector for the initial construction of the Kern River pipeline system. During his time with the company, Dunn served in positions including district supervisor; senior engineer; project manager; project director for the Kern River 2003 Expansion Project; director of operations; director of information technology; and vice president of operations, information technology and engineering.
