The return on investment is expected to take 12 years. The Kavarskas plant will generate around 6.5M kWh of electricity each year.
Lithuania currently has 50 small hydroelectric power plants, accounting for around 3% of the country's total electricity production. By 2010, Lithuania's hydroelectric power plants are expected to be generating 510M kWh of electricity a year.
