New small hydro plant for Switzerland

The plant, in the Swiss Canton of Graubünden, went into operation at the end of August 2012. An inaugural celebration, organised by operating company Wasserkraftwerk Tambobach AG (which is 70% owned by Alpiq), will be held on 13 October.

The Tambobach plant will have an annual output of around 7MkWh.
