NHPC finalises agreement with HCCL

NHPC is executing both schemes as federal government projects with a debt-equity ratio of 70:30. The 70% is provided by the federal government, and the balance funds are being arranged by NHPC as term loan.

The Uri project on the Jhelum river is scheduled to be completed in 51 months and will generate 1123M units of energy every year. Chamera would be completed in 60 months and generate 1108M kWh per year.
