NHPC plans repair/refurb works at Pakal Dul, Dhauliganga I and Chamera II

On the Pakal Dul scheme, NHPC wants to have a groutability test performed to assess the efficacy of the grouting in the CFRD plinth area on the left bank of the river Marusudar, at Drangdhuran. The work at the site in Kishtwar region, J&K, is expected to take five months, and deadline for bids is 6 September.

For the Dhauliganga I plant, the company is inviting tenders by 29 August to perform seven months of repair and maintenance works to the hydro mechanical facilities at the site.

At Chamera II, the company is seeking tenders to replace hydro-mechanical equipment at the generating units, including runners, wicket gates, wearing plates and in-situ replacement of other parts. Refitting, realignment and balancing works are also to be executed. Deadline for submissions is 30 August.
