Ontario and Quebec to build power grid

The scheme, due for completion in 2010, will link the Outaouais region of western Quebec to the Ontario region east of Ottawa, and in the process increase the latter's access to its neighbour's hydroelectricity during peak demand.

Quebec will supply C$684M (US$600.6M) and Ontario's Hydro One is contributing C$124M (US$108.8M) to the project.
