The project, located on the river Bhagirathi in the Uttarkashi district of India's Uttaranchal, is a run of river scheme made up of four 150MW units, and should be completed in 45 months.
Scope of the project consists of a surge shaft, inclined pressure shaft, underground power house, underground transformer hall, tail race tunnel and switchyard.
