Power Machines resumes contract supplies for Iraq’s Al Adaim project

The turnkey contract includes supply of two turbines and generators, and auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment. The units each have an installed capacity of 13.4MW.

Al Adaim is being constructed in northern Iraq. The contract with Power Machines was signed in 2001 but frozen two years later because of the war. The company put equipment already made into storage.

With the resumption of the contract, Power Machines plans to ship the equipment ver the coming months. The plant is to be commissioned in mid-2010.
