Power Machines ships unit to Kygy project, Turkey

Russian engineering firm Power Machines says it has manufactured and shipped the first of three 46.6MW hydro units to the Kygy hydroelectric plant currently under construction in Turkey, with the unit scheduled to be delivered to the project in May.

Under the terms of Power Machines' contract with project developer DSI, the company is manufacturing and supplying three 46.6MW hydro turbines, each complete with pre-turbine gates, three generators of similar capacity, all electromechanical equipment for the machine hall and switchgear.
