Repairs needed at Wolf Creek

17 August 2005

The plan - outlined during two public meetings held by the US Arms Corps of Engineers (USACE) - involves the installation of a concrete wall to stabilise the dam. The wall will reinforce a previous concrete structure completed in the early 1970s to combat similar leakage problems.

Significant lowering is not expected in Lake Cumberland, which is held back by the dam.
