Rutherford Creek power plant sold

The $100.4M acquisition of the 49.9MW run of river facility, located near Pemberton, is subject to regulatory and third parties approvals. Of the acquisition cost, $50.4M will be paid in cash and $50M relates to the assumption of indebtedness incurred during project development.

The Rutherford Creek project has a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with an original term of 20 years with British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, which expires in 2024.
