Thailand to finance Laos projects

According to the Vietnamese News Agency, the decision was made during talks between the Thai and Lao Finance Ministers in Vientiane in early February.

Some of the funding from the bonds issue will be used to construct the Nam Nguem 111 hydro plant, which will export some of its electricity to Thailand.
