Tupolang to start in 2005

Russia's Siloviye Mashiny has started installing two generating blocks with capacities of 15MW each, which will generate around 63MkWh of electricity a year. This work will be completed by the end of this year.

The Tupolang plant will have a total of four generating blocks of a total installed capacity of 175MW, generating an annual 514MkWh of electricity. The plant will cost more than US$88m to build.
