Two killed in Russian power plant attack

Two other people were also taken to hospital following a gunfire attack on the plant, which is run by Rushydro. Bombs were also reportedly planted in the turbine hall of the project, which resulted in three generators and other technical equipment being taken out of service.

Local power supplied were unaffected by the incident, as power was rerouted from other projects, Reuters noted.

Investigation work into the damage is now underway.
