Vietnam continues mini hydro drive

The developments, at a cost of US$20M, are the 7.5MW Nam Chim 2 plant and the 8.9MW Nam Chim 3. A schedule has not been disclosed.

In addition, Hoa Long Company, another privately-owned enterprise, is set to develop the 1.9MW Doal 3 hydro plant in the central highlands provinces of M,Drak district.

In related news, Petrovietnam Finance Company has signed a US$25M finance agreement with the Song Da Corporation for the development of the Nam Chien hydro station, also in Son La province.
