Workers killed at Indian project

Two workers are reported to have been killed and half a dozen others injured in a blast at the 450MW Shongtong-Karcham hydropower project which is under construction in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India.

Local news reports suggest that the blast occurred when an engineer was inspecting dynamite installed to carry out a controlled blast at the construction site.
