Zero-leakage ball valves

15 January 2004

Circor Instrumentation has introduced the new Hoke 7 series of zero-leakage ball valves. The range uses energised stem packing technology, which extends service life up to 50,000 cycles and live-loaded seats to compensate for wear and temperature cycling without adjustment.

The valves come in 2-way and 3-way versions and are constructed from 316 stainless steel or special alloys to specification. They are supplied with either a manual handle or a factory-assembled pneumatic actuator to reduce installed cost. According to CIRCOR, the valves also boast fast on-off operation, visual indication of flow and grounded stems, which prevent static discharge.
