Mavel completes project in Belarus

Mavel has announced the recent commissioning of the Grodnenskaya hydroelectric project in the Republic of Belarus. Located on the Neman River, 8km from the city of Grodno, the project is owned by RUP Grodnoenergo. Mavel signed a contract to provide turbines and related technology for the project in July 2009. Financing was provided by the Czech Export Bank.

Mavel completes commissioning of final three projects in South Korea

Mavel has announced the successful commissioning of three hydroelectric power projects utilising the company’s turbines on the Nakdong River in South Korea. Gangjeong, Nakdan and Hapcheon hydro power schemes were part a group of five projects awarded to Mavel and announced originally in 2010. The other two projects were commissioned in late 2011.

Mavel wins contract on Marseilles project, Illinois

Mavel a.s. has signed a contract with the Marseilles Land & Water Power Company (“MLWC”) to provide four Pit Kaplan turbines for the new Marseilles hydroelectric plant on the Illinois River, in Marseilles, Illinois.

Mavel nearing completion on five South Korean projects
