Voith has appointed Uwe Zulehner as President and CEO of Voith Hydro in North America, effective immediately.
Based at the company’s North America headquarters in York, Pennsylvania, Zulehner will lead Voith Hydro’s regional operations and oversee the delivery of hydropower equipment and services across the continent.
Zulehner joins the company with more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the mining, metals and energy sectors. Before joining Voith, he held C-level positions at global engineering and technology companies, where he managed capital project execution, sales, and aftermarket service operations.
He has an engineering background in mining, machinery and metallurgy and has lived and worked in Austria, Germany, Chile, China, Australia and the United States.

Voith’s presence in the United States dates back to 1877. Its York facility is one of the world’s largest dedicated hydropower equipment manufacturing sites and the only such facility in the US with a hydraulic laboratory.
