Tractebel has appointed Pierre Devillers as Chief Executive Officer, effective 15 September 2026.
Devillers succeeds Anne Harvengt, who has taken up a new role within parent company ENGIE as Group Enterprise Transformation Project Director. He brings 30 years of international experience within ENGIE, having held senior leadership positions across Europe and Latin America.
Devillers began his career with ENGIE in 1996 and joined the management team of its Energy Trading and Portfolio Management division in 2001. After leading the division’s human resources transformation programme, he was appointed HR Director for the Energy Benelux and Germany business in 2007.
He subsequently worked on ENGIE’s merger with British electricity generation company International Power in 2010. Devillers moved to Latin America the following year, where his positions included Chief Customer Solutions Officer, Country Manager for Chile and Colombia, and Chief Commercial and Business Development Officer.
Since returning to Europe in July 2021, he has held several roles, including Group Transformation Vice-President and Country Manager for the Netherlands. He became Regional Vice-President for Europe and Latin America in 2024.
