Under the terms of the deal, the consortium partners will supply and supervise the installation of the plant’s electromechanical equipment, including two 260MW Francis turbines and generators.
Manufactured at alstom’s hydropower manufacturing facility in Tianjin (China), the first turbine unit is expected to be put in operation by December 2014 and the second by April 2015.
