B.Grimm Power, a Thailand-based energy company, has expanded its footprint in the US renewable energy market through the acquisition of a 25% stake in Brookfield NERH Aggregator’s hydropower portfolio.
The transaction covers 26 hydropower facilities with a combined installed capacity of 406MW. Of these, 25 plants are located in the state of Maine, representing 403MW, while one facility in New Hampshire contributes an additional 3MW.
The investment marks a strategic step in the long-term growth plan of B.Grimm Power, adding flexible and dispatchable clean energy assets to its international portfolio.
In addition to strengthening earnings stability, the deal contributes to B.Grimm Power’s geographic diversification and reinforces its commitment to sustainable energy development. By expanding its US hydropower holdings, the company continues to align commercial growth with the global transition toward low-carbon and renewable energy systems.
