Located in Vietnam’s Son La Province, 350km north of Hanoi, the Nam Chien project is slated for completion by the end of 2010. BHEL’s contract was awarded by Hydropower Joint Stock Company of Vietnam and Song Da Corporation, and is being funded by the Government of India’s Line of Credit to the Government of Vietnam.
