Electricity may come from within or outside the province. Bids must be for blocks of 50MW up to a maximum of 250MW. Interested bidders may submit more than one bid.

The schedule for the bidding process is:

• Pre-bid conference call – 4 May 2004

• Deadline for submission of the Call for Tenders registration form – 10 May 2004

• Deadline for submission of bids – 17 May 2004

• Contract award – 19 May 2004
