The company will build a total of six dams under the US$3.4M contract awarded by Hydropower Management No5, which is part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farming.

The main dam will be 56m high and just over 1.1km long. There will be four smaller dams with a combined length of 660m plus an overflow dam with six gates.

Ta Trach is being built near Duong Hoa village, Huong Thuy district in Thua Thien Hue province. The project is required for irrigation, flood management and the possibility of a 18MW power plant, generating 60GWh annually, is being considered.
