China and Kazakhstan in hydro deal
State-owned China Gezhouba Group Co Ltd (CGGC) has signed a $728M contract with Kazakhstan Natural Gas Technology Co for the construction of a 254MW hydroelectric project on the Chilik River in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan.
