Located on the Longchuan river, 4km from the lower reaches of Liangjiangkou Qushi town, Tengchong County, Yunnan, Longchuan River Grade I is the first hydro power station to be built as part of the Longchuan River-Ruili River Valley Plan Step Development. The first unit is expected to come online by 30 December 2007, with the second unit scheduled for operation at the end of February 2008.
