China wins $1.46B hydro deal in Nigeria
China's Gezhouba Group has been awarded a US$1.46B contract to construct what will be Nigeria's largest hydroelectric plant, with 2.6MKW of installed capacity. Construction is expected to take almost seven years at a cost of US$2.5B.
