It is anticipated that the consulting services will require about 31 person-months of international consulting input and 85 person-months for domestic consultants starting in early 2008. The following fields of expertise for consulting service will be required: (i) Water resources management and strategic planning; (ii) Irrigation and water resource engineering including irrigation engineering, hydraulic structures and pump systems; (iii) On-farm water management both technical and institutional issues; (iv) Resource, agricultural, and project economics; (v) Financial analysis and project costing; (vi) Agronomy; (vi) Resettlement and environment; (vii) Water resources institutional analysis; (viii) Social assessment, poverty and gender.
