ELC Electroconsult has been awarded the consultancy contract for the Pokko Hydropower Plant Project in Indonesia. The assignment covers the preparation of the updated feasibility study, detailed engineering design, and a comprehensive market analysis.

Under the contract, ELC Electroconsult will deliver the detailed design for the project in line with international technical standards and best practices. The scope also includes reviewing and updating key technical parameters to support project development and implementation. In parallel, the company will carry out a market analysis to assess the project’s economic framework, market conditions, and long-term viability.

The Pokko hydropower plant is expected to contribute to Indonesia’s renewable energy development and strengthen the resilience of the national power system. The project aligns with ongoing efforts to expand hydropower capacity and support sustainable energy generation in the region.

The proposed project is to be located on the Mamasa River, approximately 22km upstream of the existing Bakaru dam.
